Trapeze line setup question  Bottom

  • Recently bought a Mystere 5.0xl, and i'm not sure exactly how to set up the trap lines. The line adjusters are clam cleats and have the stainless dogbones. How/ where do i attach the shock cord to this setup so that it maintains that constant upward pull on the dogbone and returns it to the tramp when unhooked? I see the grommets in the tramp for the rear line shockcord and the front line shockcord passes thru the crossbeam. Can't seem to find any photos/drawings for clamcleat lines showing shockcord attachment

  • Interesting, but not quite what i have. I only have the one handle, clamcleat w/line and no pulley. Unless there's something missing here?

  • the second link only has one handle. The second handle is actually a high end dogbone. Put your stainless dogbone there. You will need to have a pulley because you are basically pulling your weight up when you adjust the length when out on the wire.

  • Thanks Pete, i guess the seller must have forgotten to give me those little pullies, and that would explain the four short pieces of mystery line!

  • Up here in Canada it's so mountainous even the lakes flow downhill! :p
Seriously though, the picture is right side up on my phone, so i don't know why that happened... icon_lol
