I do want to race the Milt, and I'd bet I could talk Bob Martinez into it, so we only need three more cats.
The Milt race committee could be swayed by early registration.
Anyone on the west coast interested in the Milt Ingram race around Anacapa Island? A 48 mile offshore race with two beam reach drag races- one in the middle and the other at the end. The race is well organized and well run by PBYC.
Any questions can be posted here or send me a pm.

I would like to do the Milt race with either my SC20 or a friends boat. Is there enough time/interest to get enough cats?
Also dose anyone know if the "frenchy's rum run race" will happen this year? The Ventrua Sailing Club's website is down.
If the Milt race doesn't happen how likely is it that there will be a catamaran class in the "tri point race"?

I sail my H18 out of Oxnard and would love to sail in the Milt Ingram.
I would be a 100% in if we can put enough boats together.
Pete (thanks for the furler and great conversation this weekend) turned me onto the Tri-point. My crew (college age daughter has a soccer match that day and were still trying to work that out with her coach.
The Milt Ingram looks like a fantastic race. I emailed the organizer to ask. -

Is the 5.8 a North America version? If it is (bow foil) I wouldn't do it. 5.8NA is fast when sailed to it's potential. If it is not, knock yourself out, but, my thinking is . . . .
buy a N20. Awesome platform, dirt cheap, spin out of the box design, balanced, etc.
