dartsailorsIf you want to consider a Dart 18, there is one for sale in our area (Clearwater, FL).
It’s not my boat and I don’t know the owner. It’s was on Craigslist.

Thanks for the lead on the 18. I had one in my fleet in the UK, they were great in a blow, less likely to bury the hull than the 15, BUT you cannot beat a reach on the 15 while on the trapeze, feet as far back as you can possibly go, with the hull flying The other huge advantage of the 15 is it’s very easy to rig the mast single handed and also recover from a capsize single handed. I also like not having a boom, but that’s another story...

The Weta looks interesting, just not sure I’d get the same ‘fix’ as the 15, but beggars can’t be choosers...
