  • Nice clean cat, and well sailed!
The bungee keeping the jib sheet off the mast base is a life-saver, especially single-handed.
    Thanks for sharing.

    why no trap?
  • klozhaldThanks for sharing.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.

    MN3why no trap?

Oak Hollow Lake is a relatively small man made lake notorious for rogue puffs, violent wind shifts (as in 180 deg. instantaneous at times, a lot of small fingers). I rarely trap on this lake as T-bagging and reverse capsizing is an ever present, commonly experienced danger.

  • Nice looking 5.0
If not trapping, & sitting near the rear beam, on both the 5.7 & 5.0, I keep my rear foot against the casting that anchors the main sheet. It gives you something to brace against when a sudden gust lifts the hull way up. Without that brace it is easy to go sliding down the tramp, & swimming.

  • Andinista How do you keep the camera vertical? Very nice

Thanks Andinista. The camera hangs below a simple pivot mount like a pendulum.
