Description:
The 2024 edition of Eugene Yact Club’s “Live on the Edge” Regatta will be held June 6 – 9th, on the grounds of EYC on the shores of Fern Ridge Reservoir, near Eugene Oregon
Thu/Fri June 6/7 is the Race Clinic, for those who want to improve their racing skills, tactics and sail trim. Coached by Ken Marshack, a multiple National Champion in various classes.
Sat/Sun 8/9 is the Regatta. Registration for these events is independent, you can register for both events or just the Regatta.
What can you expect?
- excellent sailing conditions, experienced Race Committee, target is for a minimum of 6 races
- multiple start fleets, one design and Portsmouth handicap. expect to race with Hobies (14,16,17,18), A-Cats, Wetas and the occasional Nacra and F24/27
- free camping (tent/RV) on EYC grounds, RV hookups available, great facilities
- camaraderie, making new friends, fun and relaxation
