  Its just a bunch of clips sitting on my mac waiting to be edited for the past 1,5 year.
  Most of it is shot at the Yselmeer, the Netherlands. You know, biggest catclub......
  The lady falling in the main was shot at a trail for the round Texel race 2012 .
  Yes, I love cold-wheather sailing. Spring and fall make for the best wind conditions overhere.

  This is what I used;
  a 2,7 mtr aluminium tube, 50mm diameter
  a stainless steel strip 150mm x 30mm 2mm thick (bent in U-shape,
  so 50mm wil fit.)
  2 thin SS wires with eyes splitted at the ends
  2 SS small spanners
  3 SS bolt eyes
  2 plastic end-caps for the tube
  a second-hand polyester snufferhoop 50mm (To expensive new!)
  a new snuffersock, lenght for midpole setup.
  1 ronstan ballbearing single block for halyard
  2 ronstan ballbearing single block & 2 1 ronstan ballbearing double block
  for sheet.
  2 Spinlock PXR cam cleat jammers ( one swivelling)
  Second hand F18 spi.
  Shackles, lines, rivets, bolts and small stuff.
  
  Riveted the strip at the frontbeam just under the mast, drilled holes in it
  and in the tube. Then bolted the tube to it.
  Drilled 5mm holes in the upper-front sections of the hulls and epoxied
  small aluminium tubes in it.
  
  Didn't want to drill holes in the hulls, so attached the sheet-blocks to the
  back-stay-chainplates. F18 class-rules states the height of the halyard-block
  should measure 8150mm from the mastbase.
  So, the head and clew positions are fixed, now find the perfect tack-position.
  This is a matter of trial and error, pole up you can sail deeper, pole down
  you can reach better.
  Moving the tack foreward or aft determines the sheet angle.
  I didn't install the snufferhoop and sock and used kevlar lines to keep
  the boom and tack-block in place whilst finding the perfect tack-position.
  SS bridles where made after this. And I shortened the pole 60 cm.
  Hope this will get you started.
  Since you sail a P19, you can also opt for a tornado spi, more fun !
  I used an F18 spi because I solo quiet often.

  nice footage Andre, I will be studying it more to hopefully pick up some things that will help me better sail my P19. May also be interested in more details about the spin setup down the road.....
  I will be in Cologne to see family this Summer and my wife loves visiting beaches in the Netherlands...maybe I will see you sailing some time then... although it may just be to warm for you in July...jk...:)
