This isn't about the Star, but the discord involving US Sailing and US Olympic Sailing program. Paul has a pretty amazing hall of fame lifetime sailing resume and he is a multiple time world champion.

I have followed his career for many decades. I am a member of US Sailing. I mainly maintain my membership for the extra insurance coverage for race management. But, now US Sailing doesn't give that coverage. To me, the benefit has evaporated. There has been a lot of internal battles within US Sailing.
Many regattas give a $5 discount if you are a US Sailing member.
