Hull cleaning, glue removal  Bottom

  • Hi!
Last time I renewed the non-skid strips on my hulls they didn’t adhere well, I was too lazy to properly clean the hull surface after removing the old ones. Now I decided to put eva foam on a larger area, got some with 3M adhesive. The question is how should I clean the glue from the strips that I removed? Thanks!
  • Naptha works well on adhesive residue. I'd check to make sure it does nothing bad to your hulls though.

Goo Be Gone works very well for adhesive. You can also use acetone.
