Great community here with great history and member knowledge. Everyone wants to help, but you got to help us.
First, tell us what boat this is. Post here the serial number stamped into the starboard hull. This will tell us a lot, especially what year and model boat you have. From there we will be on the right track to help through these issues.
Tell us where you found the boat. What part of the country will help again as somebody probably knows the boat already. Where are you located? If you don't want to share give us a general geographic area. Are you sailing lake, ocean, bay, etc.
Also, my vague suggestion to go to a regatta reflects in the same context as Raisehulls suggestion to seek someone local to help. If there is a sailing club close by, or a regatta, you will learn more in one day there then beating your head against the keyboard endlessly for months.
It has already been suggested to create your own album. Puts lots of pictures in it so we can see what is right and what is wrong, what works and what doesn't. Everyone is here to help.
Learn to use the search function, especially the advance search. Most questions have already been answered and likely pictures shared.
. . . . and as Damon says "Welcome to The Beachcats" . . . oh, and just ignore Andrew as he is only trying to get his post count up and he doesn't love Nacras like some of us do.
