  • Good idea if I have understood it right. No technical discussions are off topic in my world icon_smile . Just found out M32 uses Starco Flex Lite 16" wheels.

  • If your tires have inner tubes You should see just how low you can take the air pressure down before the tires start dismounting themselves. The contact patch of the tires will increase dramatically as the PSI goes down. If the tires are tubeless then this will not work very well or at all.

For sure I will be messing around in my shop this winter building a set of wheels like yours. The beaches we have here are generally pretty hard sand, or fairly tight gravel and we can run our trailers right to the water, but not always.

  • dg, will lower the pressure at once, as they are now they don´t even work in course sand.

Nice price! Only 3500USD/set. Still using Starco wheels at ca 30USD/pc......

  • New wings 2018. Also made them telescopic for widening when going single hand. Weight close to 10kg/pair. As previous version leeward lifts when sitting on windward wing.

  • Do the wings go up and down during a tack? If so, very cool.

  • Hi John,

Tried this last year and it works like a charm. When you load one wing, the opposite rises. Can allthough be easily modified to lift both wings, when neither is loaded, only two small bungee cords needed.

A very simple system with a 2-3mm dyneema(red in the image) that turns around a small block, above the diamond tangs and the hounds, in front of the mast. The dyneema could be turned lower but this increases force needed and also gets in the way of the spinnaker.
