My wife and i recently purchased a Hobie Miracle 20 and it was missing the blocks. A member from our club let us borrow a spare set that he had. So my questions is. What ratio blocks should we purchase I was thinking 10:1. But I heard that it takes 2 hands to tack. Please let me know what you think. -

Stock was 8:1
The problem with 10 is if you let to much out, it takes a while to get it back in. Got to be very easy with it.

i started with an modern harken 7:1, upgraded the top to a 8:1
Then I ran a line through the enitre top block and hang 1 more purchase going to 9:1 - that is my current set up. I did it to reduce shoulder stress and my blown out shoulders love it
