Hobie 14 rudder pins  Bottom

  • has anyone had an issue with length of rudder pins hitting drain plug and then sticking up too high above deck lip? any issues you guys know of?

  • A Prindle rudder casting has an upper limit built in that stops the rudder pin.
    About what make of cat are you talking?

  • On the H14, the rudder pins interfere with drain plug removal and replacement. It's pretty much been that way forever. I use hairpin cotter pins on the bottom of the rudder pins so that I can slide them up out of the way when I need to remove the drain plugs.
