Description:
NOR - Katrina Memorial RegattaA simple, fun, local but anyone's invited... race.
KMR will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 2013 off the beach @ OSYC.
Skipper's Meeting at noon under the club.
First race to begin approximately 1pm.
Short course for short boats. 2 hulls optional.
Medium course for medium boats. 2 hulls required. (high portsmouth)
Long course for long boats. Less than 2 hulls you have to be joking. (low portsmouth)
Definition of short, medium, and long will be at the PRO's discretion depending on what boats are represented at the skipper's meeting. Verbal SI's at the skipper's meeting.
No entry fee.
No protests.
No awards - other than bragging rights, a drink on the house and a championship photo.
Sail the afternoon away. Maybe a hull flying contest or steeplechase.
Back on the beach by 5pm, so you can bring your own steak and join OSYC's steak night.
