I forget the sizes, but the PVC pipe and fitting insert into the galvanized conduit so the tie off rope doesn't get cut by the pipe. The foot or so of PVC pipe keeps it from falling out of the galvanized conduit.

Used the same 2" PVC for the part the hulls rest on. GLues outdoor carpet to it, but that gets crushed easily - rubber or cradle would be better.
