Axle is 1.5" galvanized conduit ($32 at HD, just under 2" OD to fit in wheels). 2" PVC pipe ($8 at HD) slips over conduit to space wheels 60" apart. I limited the cutting/drilling on the galvanized pipe because this is for salt water.
