Due to problems with Arkabutla Lake near Hernando, MS, my local sailing club Delta Sailing Association is having to shut down. We have to clear the (Corps of Engineers owned) property by the end of May.
There are seven boats on the property that either are abandoned, forfeited due to years of non-payment of dues, or gifted to DSA to help with final expenses.
It's a sad day but maybe some sailors can benefit. The auction will be

At Delta Sailing Association lot, Hernando Point on Arkabutla Lake, DeSoto County, MS. Go about 5 miles south of Hernando Square on Rt 51, then take Wheeler Road to the west 5 miles. DSA lot is at the end of Wheeler Road at the boat ramp at Hernando Point.
