ports added to non-port p-16  Bottom

  • I notice on the slo site an image of a p-16 with ports added.
    Does anybody know what size ports they are and what the process is for adding them?

  • They are 4" curved ports added because he probably took the gudgeons off for painting the boat. When you do (don't ask me how I know) sometimes the aluminum backing plate falls to the hull bottom. Ports or a pumpkin lid cutout necessary to reach in & replace that plate. Murrays carries them & I probably have some old white ones. Pete
  • I wonder how well they work - I really want more access to the inside of my hulls - i think there is a ton of sand and bay grass stuck in them.
