  • I'd love to see what the wind does on those sails. It seems like some points of wind would have you shadowing your own sail. Not that that's a problem, mind you, as much as it is a change in how you plan your tacks. But I'd love to see what it does to your speed at each point of sail.

    The Hobie Trifoiler was also a dual-masted boat, a trimaran in that case, but it used a boom/sail arrangement a lot more like a windsurfer. No foresails on the Trifoiler. Not many of them were built, unfortunately.

    I could imagine close hauled you'd get insane speed out of this thing. I'd like to hear how it does off the wind.
