The curriculum in Canada is not standardized across the Country, education is the purvey of Provinces. I grew up in Western Canada, on the edge of the Rockies.
HS physics there consisted of two entities, statics & mechanics, followed by light, electricity & magnetism. It was set up to prepare one for university, taking a science degree or engineering.[/quote]
