I'd personally love to have the option to fix hull with gelcoat, but my hull is already painted. If you do use some type of filler, make sure it's "waterproof" as standard Bondo filler is not; it'll allow water absorption if you have any kind of leak, like a scratch. Dynatron is one that is waterproof and polyester; there are others.[/quote]
