It's similar to the "problem" with the pre-1987 rudder casting system on the Hobie 18 with the metal cam.
The system worked perfectly fine while it was in good shape, the problem was after parts started wearing out. (20 years later) Unfortunately that system can't really be fixed once it goes bad. At least the Prindle system can be rebuilt.[/quote]
