Reply to: trapeze rigging

TylerH: Does your shock cord go right through the front beam to the other side? Also, I have a Hydra 16ft (newly acquired) that has no trapeze setup. If my trap rig was setup there, would it being annoying to access as it is fore of the side stay? Or is the side stay in a different place on your boat? I suppose I could run the shock cord back to a pulley (block?) on the side stay. Cheers for your help! Complete novice. Dan
Yes, You can use either your tiller extension or the Largest batten in your sail to fish it through. If you are Soloing with Trapeze you would just run the bungee under the tramp from wherever you feel comfortable with it, You can get creative with the Skipper trapeze wire by running a 4 to 1 for Bungee so If you were to pitch pole, you wouldn't break the bungee. If you need some cool ways to do this set-up, PM me. I can help you out.
