I've seen some of the newer legacy boats with gelcoat, but don't know if the factory or someone else did it. The mold halves did not have transoms. Don't get this confused with the newer design (500,570,580, etc.) which is a whole different boat. Easiest way to know is the new boats have the newer beams (D shaped) and smooth gelcoat transoms and newer rudder castings.[/quote]
