The mast step assist doodad came together relatively quickly. The only bits that didn't come out of the scrap box were the eyebolts and the crossbeam. Those came from Ace Hardware. The rest was all in the bins ready to be cut down.

Today we had the naming ceremony for our P-Cat. We opted not to break the bottle of champagne on the bow of the boat, and poured it into glasses instead. We said a toast, raised our glasses, and drank to Smilodon's health.
