You are going to make a bearing sandwich. Place the cage on top of one of the races & insert bearings.
Notice where the old bearings have worn a very slight groove into the race. Those are simply wear marks, they are not there to "guide" the bearings.
Flip the races over, & use the "new" side against the bearings.
