Raising 31' Mast with electric winch

Mast has been pinned at base, & supported by a surveyors tripod that has the legs fully extended, & a "U" bracket added to hold mast.
You could use a step ladder, or simply two sticks.

You can see that the stabilizing jacks on the trailer have been lowered, but they really are not necessary.
It is important to experiment with the length of lines you require to add to the trap lines.

Raising mast becomes a two finger operation. Winch has 12' leads that go to a battery inside of storage box, though you could also drive your tow vehicle up.

The winch pole was fully extended & pinned before starting to raise.
You can see the diagonal brace that quick pins to the pole. It turned out be not required.

Mast is nearly fully up. At this point you can grab the line & pull it by hand the remainder.
You need to think how you attach your winch line. If you just attach the end of the forestay to the winch line, you will not be able to reach it once the ma
