tubing is 2" square. make sure it's long enough to keep the powerhead aft of the tiller crossbar. I drill for one bolt on the rear plate, and then adjust the angle of that plate so the motor is near vertical when down. Then a second bolt is drilled and inserted to fully secure the plate at the correct angle. A 2" x 6" is then screwed to the plate to increase it's thickness.
