Homemade Rudder Pins

My pins were shot and I was not too excited about paying 20bucks each for them. I went to Home Depot and found 3/8 inch aluminum rods for just under 6bucks. I splurged and bought two. One rod yielded three pins. I believe the hobies use the same diameter.
