This step helps exhausted or weak sailors get back on board. I used a 90 deg PVC conduit elbow threaded on rope as the step. The rope goes through a grommet in the tramp and has a stopper knot and bottle cap to set the length it comes out. Bungee cord retract the step to the grommet.
