6" port middle of hull. Before 2012 the boats came with what the British refer to as "cocktail cabinets". After 2012 they were dropped in order to make production less costly, & they also dropped 3kg/hull.
They make for a nicely finished, clean, & dry,(as long as you have good O-rings on the cover)storage space.
The orange is the end of the paddle that is built to fit inside.
