SailCat

This is a Sailcat catamaran, designed by Robbie Roberson, built by Slemmons Sports at the shop they had in Santa Ana.
When built there was a layer of foam (like whats used for the exterior layer of a boogie board) applied to the deck. Designed to be sailed standing up (sans rudder assembly) or could be rigged with stays for sit down sailing (most normal). the knobs on the PYHI plates are for lifting the dagger boards which can pivot up into a cavity built into the hull. the boat was designed in three parts for easy shipment/assembly/disassembly.
Sails were built by Neil Pryde, not sure where the sail number count came from but if memory serves me right there where around 24+ boats built.
