The classifieds here are very busy, because of the safeguards in place we don't have a big problem with scammers.

However the criminals never stop trying so always be alert when you sell something online.

Here is a scammer that was just reported by multiple members who all received the identical initial contact on their ad and then the identical followup email when they responded.

In case you don't know, the ultimate goal is to "overpay" by some method (usually a very good fake cahiers check) and then get you to wire them the cash difference with some clever story.

receive it I will wait the appropriate time for it to be confirmed
cleared then I will handle the pick up by my transport company. Please
provide me with the following information below now in order to get
the payment to you.

(2) Your address to ensure delivery in your courier service.
(3) Your phone number.
(4) Amount
