Cooler inside of hulls

I picked up an old Hobie 21SE the other day and found a Little Oscar cooler inside of it....the cooler is too big to fit through the access port so what is going on here?

Also the cooler is from:

Alpha Speedweek '86

The Pond, April 17-20

Palm Springs, California

The hulls were repaint so no hull ID #'s the mast ID # is 51172

The boat use to be from Maryland.....deep blue with a copper below the waterline....

Does anyone remember this cat?

When I opened my hull to do a repair job, I found an unopened gatorade from circa 1995...and, gross... Old screwdriver and pliers.

PO wanted cold beer and made it a permanent upgrade during a repair
seems logical to me

My 21SE had a cooler and shelf to hold it. Looked original.
