In this link you will find a good description of
a 4 way jib-setup. http://www.thebeachcats.c…pictures?g2_itemId=35451
Though its a P19/18-2 , its an exact copy of the tornado.

Do you have a specific question about the outhaul? I don't think that there are any pics of it on pbase. Look in the pictures section on Tornadocat, you might find something. I can take some pictures of ours if you need, but
it is much like the Hobie 18 except our cleat is towards the front of the boom.

In the pbase image # IMG_5914, shows the casting in the boom that attaches to the mast. Our casting has a pulley in it. It is narrow for about an 1/8 inch wire, and goes inside the boom. I will have to put a photo up.

Also our jib track is a foot long. Most on pbase seem 3 times that. Another oddity.

That Pulley is probably part of the old mainsheet system, where half of the
system sat in the boom. I'll try to dig up some drawings/pics of it.

A foot long jib-track is not a problem at all, Your T is a 80's houlton ?
Then make sure You use the classic jib and outhaul, not a modern or
not standard jib.

My T is a 80's reg white, and the jibtrack goes from beam to beam...
there's one part on the track wich is more used and chaved, it is
less then a foot. So if yours is in the right spot, just try the classic jib.
My jibtrack is very narrow (small) and also used to attach
some cleats, small blocks and eyes at the back of the boat.

Btw, the Prindle 19/18-2 manual gives you a good view how a 4-way/
outhaul system works, I copied it to my T and it certainly makes a
dfference downwind.
No pictures yet, mine is still in storage and completely disassembled.
