traveller setup hobie 16 ?

Hi - I bought a 1981 Hobie Cat 16 with a traveller car on the rear beam.
My problem is that I can't find any picture of the correct line setup for the main sheet traveller.
Thats my traveller:

But in which way I should fix the line(s) ?
Thanks for your help!

This should help. You can either use the end of the main sheet or a separate line for ther traveler. Also looks like your cleat bracket is bent.

Isn't that the same exact photo of a Hobie 14T rear beam from this thread?

I'm certain that system went out way before '81...in the US, at least.

Not sure exactly how it's rigged, but it's entirely different from Pete's link. I do know that there are supposed to be two traveller lines that go to v-jam cleats toward each end of the crossbar. Can't even imagine how the mainsheet is threaded.

I'd recommend you consider converting to the not so ancient system with roller bearings like in Pete's link. Would require a different car, a swivel cam cleat, and maybe a new track.

Good luck!

Yes Jerome, thats not my traveller, but it looks exactly like that, only that mine is not bent.
But I did't manage to make pictures yesterday.
The cleat is on the underside of the bracket and I think, it will work fine with Petes advice.

Thanks for your help.
