Hobie 16 spinnaker

I just picked up a Gleason spinnaker sail.
The foot measures 12'5"
green side 20'
red side 21' 3"

Would this work on a Hobie 16?

The head has a swivel attached to it.

Other than a small mouse hole, the sail looks new. icon_smile

Looks like the foot of your sail will be way too long
You could use it, however it may not be optimal
may be possible to use this, but you can also put wheels on your catamaran... wont help it sail better, but it's possible.

it is almost 2' too tall and 4' longer in the foot.

you would need to pre-bend your spin pole 2' down to get ANY luff tension. That would place your pole end in the water (i believe)

also you would need an extra long pole & you would probably have to place the blocks on the rear beam to make this work... since the foot is 33% longer than stock.

I'm guesssing those dimensions are for the old (Hobie USA?) spin. The one with the newer (Hobie Europe) kit is 15 m2.
