Dang hard to find...

Addhesive backed marker tape for downhaul on the mast and outhaul on the boom.
Marks at half inch increments and UV stabilized.
Bought the one from Murray's and it faded and peeled off after a year.

Anyone know of a good quality one about a foot long- would welcome metric as well?
Would prefer one that counted from the bottom up.

That is what is under the current ruler tape. I used an industrial Sharpie and covered it with clear UV resistant tape but the tape came off and the markings bled out, so I am looking for a more serious solution. On my first try, grease pencil under tape actually lasted longer than the Sharpie.

Just go get a thin stainless steal Machinist Engineering ruler that are typically about 1/2" wide and 6" or 12" long. Cut to length desired and rivet it to the mast.

Here is a link to McMaster Carr which has several types available.
