Wow, I want one!

That looks like a Nacra F20 Carbon with wings the size of the Hobie 18SX wings.

Since they were outfitting the boat for Cape Horn and the F20 is so overpowered they are using a custom shorter sail which is basically reefed even when full, then can be reefed a couple times.

Wow, just wow.

I paused it a few times to look at the wings, they look VERY similar to Hobie 18 wings, so much that I think they are modded SX wings. Nothing is all too difficult about building the wings other than the radiused support tube, I would guess that someone building wings would likely leave that out as many shops have benders but not tube rollers. Cutting them to lengthen them would be easy. I would like some more info on those they are attached.

Can't figure out why they aren't travelled out a bit in those conditions....

also interesting righting tech (crew already on the tramp when it comes up
MN3, that righting technique is taught at the French sailing-schools.
Saw it last summer at the French Atlantic coast.
When I asked them why, they said the person on the tramp
should steer directly into the wind to prevent the cat going over againg.
Its there strong wind tactic.
In the vid you can see the guy doing just that.
Remember, they are French, they have mysterious ways.....
