No real beach. Ramp launch put your boat on the dock or back on the trailer at the end of the day. Real nice people.

We are talking two different places. There is a Lake Martin near Alexander City and a Lake Logan Martin.

We have stayed at Wind Creek State Park. Lots of water front campsites. Several boat ramps and a marina available. We stayed at campsite 168 which is next to a small boat ramp that only campers can use.
We were able to pull the cat up on the bank at the campsite. The trees are real thick and over hang the banks at most camp sites. It's probably been about 5 years since I was there. http://www.alapark.com/windcreek/
