I make a post and it takes up to 30min. approximately to show up on the home page. Is it just me?

I run into that sometimes. The other day in Hongkong I gave up because just logging in was painful. Seems fine tonight.

Yes, you aren't imagining it. The list of "recent topics" on the front page now updates every 30 minutes.
Traffic has increased so much that I've had to introduce some new page caching in order to reduce load on the server.
This does not affect the forum itself and the best way to see the "latest posts" is (strangely) to click on the "latest posts" link at the top of every forum page.

But I know that you really want to see your "name in lights" on the home page.
