Hobie 16 line kit

Hi everyone I just traded a sunfish for a Hobie 16! That being said the sheets are junk I saw a line kit here:
http://www.saltydogmarine.com/product_info.php?cPath=421&products_id=674 Would this be a good kit to buy for a first timer? Thanks in advance!!!
Welcome to the fast and fun world of 2 hulls!

i am sure any gear from saltydogmarine would be fine.... they have been around a long time.

be sure to look close at all 3 stays (2 sides and 1 forestay) and if the lines are shot... its probably safest to just change out the stays (unless you know for fact they are less than a few years old).
The stays are nice and shiney no broken strands. Thanks for the info!
I thought all my cables were nice in good shape too until a trap line broke and dumped my wife in Lake Michigan. It snapped a foot up from the handle under the plastic coating. I had all new standing rigging and trap lines before going back out the next time. We were out in 2-4 foot waves and I had to go back and get her. That is the last time I buy a used boat and don't replace the stays before sailing in even moderate wind.
