Description: Le Pelican is now in salvage in Bakersfield , CA. She will be auctioned off to the highest bidder via the Copart website. Got to Copart.com and search for Lot # 54542169 and you will find her, if you have any trouble feel free to contact me. Hope she floats again.

For sale my lovely L7 trimaran Le Pelican. She was flipped in a large wind event here on the east side of the Sierra in Crowley Lake California a month ago. Insurance is paying me for the boat in full or minus salvage. If you want a project or R2AK boat then contact me, the damage is as you see here, you will need to be handy with both fiberglass and plywood repair. Both amas were damaged and there is some surface gouging damage to the main hull but not through or leaking. The cabin roof was damaged when everything inside went flying during the capsize. She comes with main sail, full jib and screacher, the bow sprit is still intact. The bow eye was ripped from the hull during the invert along with cleats on both amas. I have a 4hp Nissan outboard that may still run, I'll be trying it this weekend, it was inundated for 20 hours and has been drained of all fluids and dried, it still spins free with pulls to the starter cord. She is currently in Bishop, CA on a good trailer with a modified cradle that works very well, I pull her with a 2006 Tundra with ease, no trailer brakes. All standing rigging in Amsteel re-rigged last year. No deliveries and as I have to get an answer to the Insurance company as far as salvage or not this add will only run for one week at the most. I have been in contact with Mike Leneman designer, builder of this L7 so if you have other questions about the build let me know and I'll see if he can answer them. Thanks for looking, Ray Warburton
