I am not done sailing, but I am done sailing large volume, unassisted sheeting for now at least.
I would LOVE it if someone in this core group wanted to buy these, use these, resell them for a profit, ....
I have lowered my price: $4250 for both boats and trailers (all registered), and all sails
2 FL REGISTERED mysteres each with new jibs, mains in good shape, 2 spin poles, hoops and spinnaker sails
2 FL REGISTERED trailers (one is custom Alum with extending yoke for easier stepping)
Custom wings (fit on both)
FUN and Fast boat. Kick-up centerboards work well in shallow waters. Can be rigged for racing or cruising with friends and family.
Boats both stored under a canopy and or tarps, always fully washed after use
Includes:
standing rigging, harken furler systems (top and bottom) for jib - both boats
running rigging: jib sheets, mainsheets, harken jib blocks (x2)
alum spin poles with hoops (x2)
Technora 6.0 main with reef points – good condition
Dacron 6.0 jib sail – new to good condition
Technora 5.5 mainsail - good condition
Dacron 5.5 jib sail – new to good condition
Spinnaker - 1 good and 1 decent condition
Wings and alum trailer
6.0 was totally stripped down and taken apart by previous owner (Mast welder/spar fabricator/ rigger). Custom welded attachment points added to mast diamond wires and trap wires, compression tubes (horizontal and vertical) added to beams, custom everything, Imron paint on the boat, Awegrip paint on the mast and beams.
6.0 rig has Custom reefing system: Dynema halyard is lowered and secured with an in-mast-track spinlock. There is a 2:1 system aloft to spread the load out when reefed with dynema (to eliminate stretch when off the stock ring/hook system), Awegrip paint
6.0 has Technora main with reinforced reefing downhaul and outhaul (tack and clew). When not reefed... just use the stock ring/hook system.
The 6.0 tramp is old and torn: and will need replacement – old is one available
