Description: 1983 Nacra 5.8 with NA jib setup. Titled and registered in Texas.

Trailer will be included. Reinforced with unistrut holding cat box and oversized sail tube.

We’ve had this boat for the past 6 years. It’s been a blast to sail on lakes, the Texas city dike and in the gulf from surfside and Freeport beach.

The 5.8 for sale has both the regular and NA jib setup. Both are in great condition.

The hulls are in great condition with the normal wear and tear you’d expect from a boat of this age with small dings and scratches here and there.

Items replaced during our time with this boat:

Job blocks
Most ropes
New mast ball plus back up

We have spare ropes, bungee, and many other smaller parts that will go with the boat as well.

It came with a spinnaker set up, but unfortunately the spinnaker itself was not in the best condition so we never used it. The set up will come with the boat as well.

We’ve sailed this boat every year we’ve owned it. It’s a strong, solid boat that should last many more years with normal maintenance.

Shoot me any questions you may have and I’ll answer them the best I can.

Shipping/Transport is not included and is buyers responsibility. I can work with local central Texas area on transportation

The NA jib is larger, adding in more speed upwind. The jib connects to an aluminum foil between the bows instead of the normal setup. As for The spinnaker sail itself resembled Swiss cheese and was not salvageable. All the setup is there minus the sail for it, we never attempted to run with it as it was already much faster than our previous 5.2.

What is the difference in the standard and NA jib setups? How bad is the spinnaker? Is it salvageable by a sail maker or a complete loss? Thanks.
