The launch ramp is in a cove so you may have to paddle out before you get any wind. You are not allowed to touch the water. If you capsize you will probably get expelled from the lake. I had fun there last President's Day weekend. There were good winds in the afternoon. It is also close to Solvang, a small danish town and tourist trap.
