Located next to the Racine Yacht Club, on Lake Michigan, it offers very steady 'BIG LAKE' winds. It is clean,fresh water. You can see the bottom twenty feet down. The free parking is right where you set up. The sandy beach is wide,long and clean. No rocks, no pebbles, no junk. The lake bottom is all sand. Many interesting things to sail to or around. (ie lighthouse, various beach landings etc.) All is free. Directions: Step #1. Get map and find Racine, Wisconsin Take I-94 to 20 E.(exit #333) into Racine to Main (Hwy.32) (L) over drawbridge take a right (Racine Beach is just north of RYC) Follow around past the water works plant and go (R) down the hill to beach.
