About the place:
When coming from NB Border, take first exit after tourist bureau into Amherst. Turn Left when you get to the lights and head out Route 6 for about 40 minutes. Take the left that says "Cameron Beach/Heather Beach", drive for about 10-15 more minutes, and find a good sandy spot to launch from. Sandy beaches for miles, flat sea conditions, warmest water north of the Carolinas, wind out of the same direction every day. On clear days you can see the Confederation Bridge. The longest Bridge over ice-covered water (in winter of course) in the world which connects New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
