Water Conditions: Excellent
Launch facilities: Excellent
Beach conditions: Good
Traffic conditions: Excellent
Safety: Good

Charges: None

About the place:
Launching from either Jensen Beach Causeway or Ocean Blvd (Stuart) causeway. Sail south and turn east through St. Lucie inlet to Atlantic Ocean. St. Lucie inlet can be unforgiving in East breeze, but intracoastal is deep, wide, and fun to sail in any wind speed/direction. Direct beach access is limited, but there are spots to drag the boat over the dunes if you ask the locals. Winds average southeast at 8-12 knots yearlong, and fresher breezes in winter. Temperatures rarely dip under 60F long. Beaches can have steep break (refer to Worrell 2001, Jensen Beach stopover) on bad days. Plenty of parking at Causeway, and boat ramps are located at both causeways. Modest facilities are also present, and have fresh water.
