Wind Conditions: Excellent Water Conditions: Excellent Launch facilities: Excellent Beach conditions: Excellent Traffic conditions: Excellent Safety: Poor Charges: Zero! About the place: Bizarre. I finally find the perfect Cat Beach when I'm boatless. Visited today and the beach is over 1 mile long, perfect for launching, has pavillions for hanging out, a bar/rest ON the beach and a C-store a block down, ZERO motor traffic, flat clean water that goes for miles, constant wind and did I mention there was NOBODY there except for two cats and a Dolphin? (this was on a Sunday 11ish AM). This is a seriously overlooked place folks, the only problem I can see is finding some help in stepping or loading so better bring the wife. Magnolia Beach is mas o menos 9 miles S. of Port Lavaca, TX almost exactly between Corpus and Houston.
