About the place:
This place is located in South West of France. Cap-Ferret is a peninsula. You can therefore sail in the bay or in the Atlantic Ocean. Wind condition are excellent and is the water conditions. In the bay, a nice Force 4-3 wind appears early in the afternoon and keeps blowing until night time. The wind usually gets stronger in the middle of the afternoon. If you sail in the bay, water condition are good to with max 3 feet high waves. Waves are much bigger in the Ocean but that is fun to surf too ! Best time to sail is Summer since it gets pretty cold during the rest of the year. Access to any beaches are free. you just need to make sure to have a good launch/beach trailer. Sailing there has been a gear experience and loads of fun since there is always another catamaran to race you if you want some fun !
